BFSC runner-up prize announcement

The first runner up of the British Feature Screenplay competition will receive a Macbook worth nearly $1350.

If the winner has an agent the next runner-up without an agent will get representation from Katharine Vile of United Agents.

All the finalists will receive Movie Magic screenwriting software as well as written feedback from the judges.

BFSC early deadline extended

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Due to a technical issue the online payment fee cannot be changed until Friday 19 September.

This has offered an opportunity to extend the early postmark deadline to 19th September so you still have a few days to submit your screenplay for the special early deadline fee.

Katharine Vile of United Agents joins judges

Katharine Vile of United Agents will be joining the panel of judges of the BFSC and will offer representation to the winner/runner-up.

This is an exceptional opportunity created by Kaos Films for the screenwriter. United Agents’ client list includes Keira Knightley, Ewan McGregor, Alan Bennett and Tom Stoppard.

For years writers have been asking Kaos to run a feature screenplay contest.

The wait is finally over!

Kaos Films, the founder of the internationally celebrated British Short Screenplay Competition (BSSC) is inviting writers from across the world to enter the British Feature Screenplay Competition.

With the biggest prize of any screenwriting contest ever!

The winning Screenplay will go into production with a budget of up to US$ 2million.

“This is not a development scheme, the winning screenplay will be produced.” says Arif Hussein.

Kaos Films has long been the champion for aspiring film making talent through associations with the National Film and Television School and The John Brabourne Awards. This is yet another unprecedented opportunity for screenwriters.

Over the last eight years the winning entries of the BSSC have been shot around the world USA, Bosnia, Hungry and UK and have won best film accolades in international film festivals.

Kaos Films will build on the success of the BSSC with the Feature Screenplay competition by offering this once in a lifetime opportunity to the lucky winner.
