BFSC runner-up prize announcement

The first runner up of the British Feature Screenplay competition will receive a Macbook worth nearly $1350.

If the winner has an agent the next runner-up without an agent will get representation from Katharine Vile of United Agents.

All the finalists will receive Movie Magic screenwriting software as well as written feedback from the judges.

BFSC early deadline extended

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Due to a technical issue the online payment fee cannot be changed until Friday 19 September.

This has offered an opportunity to extend the early postmark deadline to 19th September so you still have a few days to submit your screenplay for the special early deadline fee.

Katharine Vile of United Agents joins judges

Katharine Vile of United Agents will be joining the panel of judges of the BFSC and will offer representation to the winner/runner-up.

The winning Screenplay will go into production with a budget of up to US$ 2million.

Arif Hussein the CEO of Kaos Films announced the launch of a Feature Screenplay Competition at the Screenwriter’s Festival on June 2nd inviting writers from across the world to enter. He went on to say that like the top prize for the BSSC the winning screenplay will be produced with a budget of up to US$2million making it the biggest prize package of any screenwriting competition in the world!
